1. Scope of Services
1.1 Legal Support – We provide paralegal services in accordance with Ontario, Canada law, including but not limited to:
- Accident Benefits Assistance
- Notarizing Documents
1.2 Non-Legal Advice – We do not provide legal opinions, legal representation beyond the paralegal scope, or lawyer services. If your matter requires a lawyer, we may recommend a referral but assume no responsibility for their services.
2. Client Responsibilities
2.1 Accuracy of Information – You agree to provide complete, accurate, and truthful information related to your case. False or misleading information may result in termination of services.
2.2 Communication & Cooperation – You must respond to requests for documents or information in a timely manner to ensure effective case management.
2.3 Fee Payments – Fees for services are outlined in a retainer agreement. Payment must be made according to the agreed terms. Unpaid balances may result in suspension or termination of services.
3. Confidentiality & Privacy
3.1 Confidentiality – All information shared with us is protected under paralegal-client confidentiality as required by the Law Society of Ontario. We will not disclose your information except as required by law.
3.2 Data Protection – We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information. However, electronic communications (email, online forms, etc.) may not be 100% secure, and you accept the inherent risks of digital communication.
4. Limitation of Liability
4.1 No Guarantee of Outcome – While we strive for the best possible outcome, we do not guarantee specific case results.
4.2 Liability Limitation – Our liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount of fees paid by the client for the specific service.
4.3 Third-Party Services – We are not responsible for services provided by third parties, such as referrals to external lawyers, experts, or court officials.
5. Cancellation & Termination
5.1 Client-Initiated Termination – You may terminate our services at any time by providing written notice. Fees for work already performed remain payable.
5.2 Firm-Initiated Termination – We reserve the right to withdraw from a case if:
- You fail to provide necessary information/documents.
- There is a conflict of interest.
- You engage in fraudulent or unlawful conduct.
6. Dispute Resolution
6.1 Governing Law – These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
6.2 Dispute Resolution – Any disputes arising from our services shall first be resolved through negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be subject to mediation or arbitration before legal action is taken.
7. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.

9. Client Communications & Lead Engagement
9.1 Consent to Contact – By submitting any form, inquiry, or request through our website or communication channels, you expressly consent to be contacted by L. Minervini Professional Corporation using the information you have provided. This includes email, phone, text message, or other electronic means for the purposes of service follow-up, case intake, client onboarding, and service offerings.
9.2 Lead Follow Up – All inquiries submitted to us, whether or not they result in a formal retainer agreement, may be treated as potential leads. We reserve the right to follow up with individuals who express interest in our services in order to provide additional information, clarify needs, or offer assistance relevant to the services described in these Terms.
9.3 Retention of Contact Data – We may securely retain the contact information and communication history of potential clients to improve service delivery and better address future inquiries. This data is managed in accordance with our confidentiality and privacy standards described in Section 3.
